Warning about the risks and harm of participation in gambling and (or) betting

Excessive gambling and (or) betting involves the following perceived risks and harm to the personality:

-addiction: the participant in gambling and/or betting loses control over his/her behavior and is unable to stop playing;

-mental health: stress, anxiety, depression and other mental disorders;

-social consequences: deteriorating relations with family, friends and colleagues, as well as social isolation;

-impact on work and study: negatively affects professional activity and study, reducing productivity and academic performance.

To minimize risks it is important to play responsibly, set limits on the time and money spent on gambling and (or) betting, and also seek help from a medical organization at the first signs of addiction.
